Guidelines for 16th Annual Open Juried Small Works Show
All accepted work will appear on the MAG Website: www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org
ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include original work in any media, 2-D or 3-D (including crafts) completed since January 2019. No Giclees. Work may not exceed 15” in any direction (if 2-D, that includes frame; if 3-D, that includes the base).
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Work exhibited in prior MAG Small Works exhibitions is not eligible.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $30 for up to 3 entries. Artists may submit a maximum of 5 entries. Each additional image over 3 will be $10.00 each. Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror.
ENTRY INSTRUCTION:
- All entries are to be submitted via Submittable link.
- Follow instructions on Submittable for artist information, downloading images and making payment.
- All images must be submitted as jpg files at 1200 pixels in the longest dimension, and a file size of 1MB or less. Jpg files must be named as follows: lastname_title_size_price.jpg
All required information on the entry form must be completed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entry fees are not refundable, and all deadlines are final. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the exhibition.
NOTIFICATION: Notification of accepted works will be sent via email.
PRIZES: Cash prizes will be awarded by the Juror.
SALES: All work must be for sale. A commission of 30% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price listed on entry form. Artists are responsible to deliver or ship sold work.
Juror: JIll Sarver Rossi
Jill Sarver Rossi is Deputy Director with the Rome Art Program, a NYC-based educational organization in Rome, Italy and is Senior Curator with Cynthia Byrnes Contemporary Art, Westport, CT. She received her M.F.A. in Painting from Western Connecticut State University, M.A. in Painting and Drawing from Eastern Illinois University, and B.F.A in Painting and B.A. in Spanish from Miami University.
She has juried and curated independent exhibitions and taught art education throughout the Midwest and New York metro area and continues her studio practice at The Knowlton, Bridgeport, CT.
