Guidelines for 20th Annual Open Juried Small Works Show

All accepted work will be exhibited at the gallery at 1987 Palmer Avenue, Larchmont, NY as well as on the MAG Website: www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org

ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include original work in any media, 2-D or 3-D (including crafts) completed after January 2022. Only original artwork will be accepted. No Giclees. Work in prior Small Works juried shows is not accepted. Work may not exceed 15” in any direction (if 2-D, that includes frame; if 3-D, that includes the base).

ELIGIBILITYOpen to all artists 18 years and older. Work exhibited in prior MAG Small Works exhibitions is not eligible.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is non-member: $50 (1-3 entries); members: $40 (1-3 entries). Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror.

ENTRY INSTRUCTION

  • All entries are to be submitted via Submittable link.
  • Follow instructions on Submittable for artist information, downloading images and making payment.
  • All images must be submitted as jpg files at 1200 pixels in the longest dimension, and a file size of 1MB or less.  IMPORTANT: Jpg files must be named as follows: lastname_title_size_price.jpg

All required information on the entry form must be completed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entry fees are not refundable, and all deadlines are final. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the exhibition.

NOTIFICATION: March 17, 2025 by email

DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS: Hand delivery: Monday, March 31, 1-5 PM

All shipped work must be received at the gallery no later than Saturday, March 29 , 2025. Please include a pre-paid, returned mailing label. NO CASH or CHECKS.

PRIZES: Cash prizes will be awarded by the Juror.

SALESAll work must be for sale. A commission of 40% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price list on entry form. Each artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or delivery to the customer.

Juror: Kim Henrikson

Kim Henrikson is the Executive Director at the Center of Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT.

Kim serves as Membership Chair for the Print Club of New York and has a seat on the National Advisory Council for the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State University. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Norwalk Art Space with leaders in the arts community of Fairfield County and surrounding region. 

Previously, she ran her own art advisory business, the Yvonne Brandt Art Advisory and held a senior position at Artstor, a non-profit organization that provides access to digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities and sciences. 

Kimberly has also held various roles focused on client relationship management for both creative and technology organizations in New York City, including Yahoo, HotJobs.com, a fashion design house, and a midtown art gallery. Kimberly received a BA in Art History from Penn State University and served two years as President of the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture Alumni Society Board. She also completed coursework towards an MA degree in Art History at Hunter College in New York City.
