Juror’s Statement

Thank you to all the artists who submitted their work to this exhibition. Though the process of selecting winners is never easy, and everyone’s a winner in the end as you get to showcase your work in the amazing new MAG gallery space, I was thrilled to see such a diverse set of subjects and mediums represented.

I remember when I was in high school at Mamaroneck High School having the opportunity to showcase my jewelry at MAG and being so welcomed by the members as a budding artist. More recently as the Director of One River School of Art + Design just down the road I was fortunate enough to work with MAG on a member show in our space.

MAG is truly possible based on the dedicated, and talented, membership of artists who create dynamic works to share with the community. I’m always inspired and awe struck by the variety of pieces and subject matter.
Thank you again for sharing your works with me, it’s so great to be back in a gallery space, in person, after so many virtual events and exhibitions. It was a pleasure and I can’t wait to see all the art everyone creates in the future.

Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild Gallery is proud to be a grantee of ArtsWestchester with the funding made possible by Westchester County government with the support of County Executive George Latimer.
