Zines and Folded Paper Structures

Take your art from 2D to 3D. Learn four folded forms – two Zine books and two booklet fold variations each done on a single sheet of paper. These paper structures can be a different way to display your work, create a story or showcase collections.
MAG / RAC Members: $20
Non-members: $25
Supply List: Minimum of 4 sheets of 8.x5″ x 11″ light paper • Ruler • Xacto-knife or similar or scissors • Pencil or Marker • A folder or sleeve to hold them in (optional)

About the instructor:
Alice Kenny has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from The New York Botanical Gardens. She works in graphite, watercolor, colored pencil and printmaking with a
focus on botanical and natural science subjects. While she creates 2D art work she also enjoys looking for opportunities to use book forms and paper structures to display her work.
