Guidelines for 21th Annual Open Juried Small Works Show
All accepted work will be exhibited at the gallery at 1987 Palmer Avenue, Larchmont, NY as well as on the MAG Website: www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org
ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include original work in any media, 2-D or 3-D (including crafts) completed after January 2023. Only original artwork will be accepted. No Giclees. Work in prior Small Works juried shows is not accepted. Work may not exceed 15” in any direction (if 2-D, that includes frame; if 3-D, that includes the base).
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Work exhibited in prior MAG Small Works exhibitions is not eligible.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is non-member: $50 (1-3 entries); members: $40 (1-3 entries). Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror.
ENTRY INSTRUCTION:
- All entries are to be submitted via Submittable link.
- Follow instructions on Submittable for artist information, downloading images and making payment.
- All images must be submitted as jpg files at 1200 pixels in the longest dimension, and a file size of 1MB or less. IMPORTANT: Jpg files must be named as follows: firstname_lastname_title_size_price.jpg
All required information on the entry form must be completed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entry fees are not refundable, and all deadlines are final. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the exhibition.

DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS:
Hand delivery: Saturday, April 18 12-5 PM, Monday April 20, 9 -12
All shipped work must be received at the gallery no later than Saturday, Saturday, April 18 12-5 PM. Please include a pre-paid, returned mailing label. NO CASH or CHECKS.
PRIZES: Cash prizes will be awarded by the Juror.
SALES: All work must be for sale. A commission of 40% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price list on entry form. Each artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or delivery to the customer.
Juror: Ellen Hawley, @ellenhawley_curates
Ellen Hawley is an independent curator whose experience bridges art, marketing, and architecture. For the past decade she has curated exhibitions at the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, CT, including Biophilia, Home Sweet Home, and GLOW, and has organized independent curations throughout the region. She regularly juries exhibitions and serves on three nonprofit art advisory boards. Previously, Ellen built a career in advertising, developing brand strategy campaigns for clients such as AT&T, IBM, and L’Oréal in New York and Los Angeles. She holds a degree in Art History from Syracuse University, with a concentration in Architecture and a minor in Advertising. After living and working in New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong, she now lives in Cos Cob, CT.
