Guidelines for 18th Annual Open Juried Small Works Show
All accepted work will be exhibited at the gallery at 1987 Palmer Avenue, Larchmont, NY as well as on the MAG Website: www.mamaroneckartistsguild.org
ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include original work in any media, 2-D or 3-D (including crafts) completed after January 2021. Only original artwork will be accepted. No Giclees. Work in prior Small Works juried shows is not accepted. Work may not exceed 15” in any direction (if 2-D, that includes frame; if 3-D, that includes the base).
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Work exhibited in prior MAG Small Works exhibitions is not eligible.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is non-member: $50 (1-3 entries); members: $40 (1-3 entries). Payment is due upon submission. Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance by the juror.
ENTRY INSTRUCTION:
- All entries are to be submitted via Submittable link. THE LINK WILL BE ACTIVATED ON FEBRUARY 12, 2023
- Follow instructions on Submittable for artist information, downloading images and making payment.
- All images must be submitted as jpg files at 1200 pixels in the longest dimension, and a file size of 1MB or less. Jpg files must be named as follows: lastname_title_size_price.jpg
All required information on the entry form must be completed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entry fees are not refundable, and all deadlines are final. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the exhibition.

DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS: Hand delivery: Tuesday, March 28, 1-5 PM
All shipped work must be received at the gallery no later than Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Please include a pre-paid, returned mailing label. NO CASH or CHECKS.
PRIZES: Cash prizes will be awarded by the Juror.
SALES: All work must be for sale. A commission of 40% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price list on entry form. Each artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or delivery to the customer.
Juror: Randy Williams
Randy Williams is an active visual artist and educator developing new methods of presenting the visual arts in Colleges, Universities, Schools, and Museums. A Professor of Studio and Art Education at Manhattanville College, Randy Williams was also an instructor and educational consultant to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 50 years. He was the Artistic Director of the New York State Summer School of the Visual Arts from 1992-2016; he was a master teacher in the program for thirty-nine years.
He has been awarded a Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts to the American Academy in Rome. Randy has been recognized by the NYS Council on the Arts, Visual Arts Division, and the New York Foundation of the Arts with a Fellowship in sculpture.
Recently his work has been exhibited in two major exhibitions “Soul of a Nation: Art in the age of Black Power” organized by the Tate Modern, London, UK, and “Just Above Midtown: Changing Spaces” organized by the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, USA. He participated in more than forty national and international solo exhibitions, exhibited in over 100 group exhibitions. His artwork is in several private art collections.
